JEREMY
My Mom really helped me gain understanding of my struggles with school and why they affected me. She found the resources available to me and was my biggest advocate. She gave me the confidence to talk to teachers openly about what I needed to succeed. With my accommodations, school became less stressful. I am a college graduate and have a successful career.
JEN
Brenda offered guidance which eventually led to my grandson getting his IEP. After several years dealing with the school system and getting nowhere, Brenda offered me guidance which led to an evaluation by a Neuropsychologist. This was key in him getting the IEP and services that he desperately needed. Two years later, he had honor roll for his last two marking periods.
BRITNEY
Brenda informed me that I could ask for some accommodations in my college classroom. She encouraged me to explain to my professor that I had severe Anxiety when taking tests. My conversation with my professor helped me and ultimately lowered my anxiety in the classroom. My professor said she would work with me. The end result was a passing grade on my test.
